“Positano Gourmet - Dinner with the stars” this year shines even more

For 2018 season, a rich program of events is waiting for you at the Hotel Le Agavi. Our exclusive restaurants, La Serra and Remmese, under the magic touch of Chef Tramontano, host special nights with distinguished guests.

The first summer appointment is a comeback: on Friday 22, June the culinary event created last year, Positano Gourmet – Dinner with the stars begins. In this second edition too, the Resident Chef of La Serra Restaurant, Luigi Tramontano, hosts famous colleagues for tasteful nights. More than in 2017, this event has a particular meaning: the Michelin Star 2018, received in November, makes our kitchen the ideal place for gourmet dinners.  And what better occasion to celebrate it than a culinary festival enlivened by other stars?

The first special guest is the chef Giuseppe Stanzione, hosted by La Serra on Friday 22, June at 8.30 p.m. Working side by side, the chefs Stanzione and Tramontano created a 4-hand menu in a taste of colors and flavors, perfect for a romantic dinner on the fabulous terrace of La Serra Restaurant. The aphrodisiac ingredients – as prawn and raspberry – combined with the amazing view of Positano bay by night, will turn this culinary event into a real trip for the senses.

Lugi Tramontano hosts Giuseppe Stanzione 

Giuseppe Stanzione, after the training in Nocera Inferiore until 1997, spent a period of his youth travelling in California, Australia, China and Thailand, working in important Michelin star kitchens. Back in Italy, he distinguished himself in many restaurants, until 2008, when he began managing the kitchen of Casa del Nonno 13 at Mercato San Severino, which received a Michelin Star in the same year. From 2011 he is the Executive Chef of “Le Trabe” Restaurant in Capaccio-Paestum, gaining a Michelin Star in 2013.  

A career not so different from those of Luigi Tramontano who, thanks to daily hard work and devotion, distinguished himself in the most esteemed Italian kitchens at young age. With his guidance, before La Serra, “Il Flauto di Pan” of Villa Cimbrone (Ravello), and the “Terrazza Bosquet” of the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento each earned a Michelin Star. Thanks to his genius, from November the Star shines also in our kitchen.

Other unmissable appointments 

After the first appointment on June 22, Chef Tramontano will share his burners with such other genius of the Italian tradition. On Friday 13, July the chef Michele De Leo will reach us and propose gourmet dishes accompanied by Palmer Champagne.  On Thursday 13, September our special guest will be Michelino Gioia, chef of “Il Pellicano” in Porto Ercole. To close this festival of stars, on Monday 8, October Chef Tramontano will host Chef Nino Di Costanzo, two Michelin Stars, master of “Da Nì Maison” restaurant in Ischia.

The whole program is a promise of unforgettable moments and delicious surprises for all customers. The Positano Gourmet nights are reserved to a limited number of lucky guests and booking is required.
